Kate Balzer qualified as a Speech & Language Therapist (SLT) in 1999 from University College London and has since worked in a variety of settings, including 12 years as Principal SLT in a large inner London borough.

 

Kate has a wealth of experience in working with clients in whatever setting suits, towards whatever aim we identify together and alongside whoever is appropriate. In addition to working with communication and swallowing difficulties following neurological event or as a result of a progressive disease, Kate has particular interests in old age psychiatry, including dementia, and in working with care homes.
